The land upon which Ibah is built has been handed down from generation to generation of members of the Ubud Royal Family. Designed and built by Tjokorda Raka Kerthyasa, a descendant of the Royal court Ibah now consists of 15 luxury villas overlooking the lush Tjampuhan river valley with the sacred Gunung Lebah Temple to the south and holy springs to the north. The villas are suitated on two hectares of land surrounded by ponds and flowing spring water and, are divided 5 different styles of villa ie: Standard, Superior, Deluxe & Ibah Suites as well as Pool villas with 2 bedrooms.
Ibah’s restaurant and bar offers an extremely intimate experience, surrounded by fish ponds and flowing water. A wide range of cuisine is offered here from : modern Asian to grills, pastas and traditional Indonesian all complemented by the carefully selected wine list and extensive cocktail list. After dinner, take the opportunity to relax in the Tambako Cigar and Whiskey Lounge.
All suites and villas at Ibah are named after flowers, have roman blinds, wooden shower floors, ceiling fans, exhaust fans or air- conditioning in the bathrooms, beautiful ceramics, earthenware pots and ethernware or wooden dishes, and most have Javanese glass paintings. Roofs are thatched with elephant grass, some ceilings are visibly covered with woven bamboo mats. The roof tops have traditional designs make of ijuk, the black fibre of the jaka palm tree with animal figures such as bulls or snakes.
